Design Process

  • Initial Meeting and Site Analysis

A meeting is conducted at the site to discuss the areas to be designed and the elements to be included in the plan. Existing conditions are recorded, measured, and photographed. Township codes are reviewed for design compliance.

  • Preliminary Design

A preliminary, color rendered plan is prepared and presented for review. This plan includes the proposed locations for all elements, as well as the planting concept. At this meeting, a portfolio of plant material is reviewed to develop a list of desired plants. If necessary, the plan is revised for approval prior to development of the final plan.

  • Final Design

The final plan is manually drafted to scale - no generic computer imaging used - and incorporates any desired revisions. Proposed plantings are labeled and a plant list, details and specifications are added. If required, construction details of various elements are provided.
