Resume

John LaPointe is a graduate of Cook College, Rutger's University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture in 1986.


For over twenty years, he was employed at the landscape architecture firm, Zion Breen & Richardson Associates, Imlaystown, NJ. Here he worked on numerous projects such as the Museum Of Modern Art Sculpture Garden in New York City, the Protective Insurance corporate headquarters in Alabama, the Allentown Arts Park in Pennsylvania, the upscale Daikanyama development in Tokyo, the Disney Casting Center in Florida, as well as residential estates such as Pickfair in Beverly Hills.


His experience includes the preparation of landscape plans for large and small residential properties, corporate & retail centers, housing developments, streetscapes, playgrounds, parks, urban plazas, and rooftop gardens.


He is a registered Landscape Architect in New Jersey. His designs have been featured in DesignNJ magazine and have been awarded by the National Pool and Spa Institute, and the NJ Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
